ORDER
The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.207/2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mangalamedu Police Station, Perambalur District. The petitioner has filed the present petition to call for the records in Crime No.207/2014 of Managalamedu Police Station and quash the same.
2. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the first respondent has registered Crime No.207/2014 on the instigation of one Mr.Chandrakasi, Member of Parliament and that the petitioner is not involved in any offence.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would contend that the investigation in Crime No.207/2014 had concluded and a final report in P.R.C.No.4/2017 had also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
4. Whether the petitioner had committed any offence or not, cannot be decided in the present petition which is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. This Court cannot also conduct a roving enquiry into the truth or otherwise of the complaint made before the Inspector of Police, Mangalamedu Police Station. It is also pertinent to point out that the investigation in Crime No.207/2014 had concluded and a final report in P.R.C.No.4 of 2017 was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur.
5. I do not find any reason to quash the proceedings and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS V) //True copy// Sub Assistant Registrar mrr/dua To 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur.
