The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2020. 2.
In the representation dated 14.07.2020, the petitioner is seeking to cancel the two registered documents.
3. It is settled position that the respondentsRegistration Department, has no jurisdiction to cancel any registered documents after the withdrawal of Circular No.67 on 08.11.2017. In these circumstances, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the registered documents before the competent Civil Court in accordance with law. No costs.
