Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the practice of kangaroo court and social boycott prevalent in the fishing hamlets of the district particularly in bairavan Kuppam and consequently direct the 6th respondent to take action for proper and fair investigation on the FIR in Crime No.116 dated 23.04.2024 on the file of 6th respondent and also to direct the 4th and 6th respondents to recover the value of the damages of the petitioner car from the 7 to 13 respondents and to compensate for the loss of petitioner car and harassment and dispose of the same within the time frame that may fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to take action on the First Information Report in Crime No.116 of 2024 pertaining to the alleged illegal kangaroo courts conducted by the private respondents.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation is in advance stage and the same will be completed and the final report will be filed within a period of two weeks.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents police to complete the investigation and file the final report as per the undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate and proceed in accordance with law. No costs. 21.06.2024 Index:yes/no ari 3/5
