Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.05.2017 made by the petitioner in accordance with law. For Petitioner : Mr.L.P.Balaji Ram For Respondents : Mr.V.Shanmugasundar Special Government Pleader

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.05.2017.

2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the knowledge of this Court that the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act is not applicable to the facts of this case and the petitioner has to give representation under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to give a proper representation to the respondents under the relevant provisions of law. No costs.
