... Respondents This case has been listed today and came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Learned counsel for the appellant M/s.Srinath Sridevan and Ms.S.Aishwarya and the learned counsel for the Respondents 1 & 2 Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, standing counsel are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
ORDER
The Writ Petition No.41869 of 2016 pending on the file of High Court, Madras has been referred to Lok Adalat for conciliation today.
2. The Petitioner represented by Dr.Vijayakumar, Director assisted by counsel M/s.Srinath Sridevan and Ms.S.Aishwarya and Respondents 1 & 2 represented by Assistant Revenue Officer Mr.N.Balachandar and assisted by counsel are present before Lok Adalat today for conciliation.
3. The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner against the respondents to issue a writ, direction or order, in the Nature of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent, pertaining to notice bearing No.10/16-110/17981 dated 07.10.2016, and consequential notice bearing No.Z.O.XIII/R.D.C.No.R2/2121/2016 dated 10.11.2016 and quash the same. After great deliberation and discussion both parties have compromised the disputed claim and filed a Joint Memo of Compromise before Lok Adalat today. The said memo of compromise is recorded by Lok Adalat.
4. In view of the compromise arrived at between both the parties and in view of the Joint Memo of compromise filed by both parties before Lok Adalat today, the Writ Petition is disposed of and award is passed in terms of Joint Memo of Compromise. The Joint Memo of compromise will form part of the award. No order as to costs.
