ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the detenue/petitioner's daughter namely, Ramya, aged about 22 years, and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Ramya, aged about 22 years went missing from 24.09.2020 and that the police have not taken any effective steps to secure her. 3.Today, the second respondent police is present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue had eloped with the third respondent and a case in Crime No.952 of 2020 has been registered for woman missing.

5.Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation and as and when the detenue is secured, she may be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate under intimation to the petitioner.
