Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in its Na.Ka.No.080477/L/E5/2019 dated 28.08.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant the petitioners salary and allowances on par with Government employees as per the recommendations of the VIth Pay Commission with effect from 01.01.2006 with all attendant benefits and arrears. This instant Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 28.08.2020. In respect of the very same impugned order, an another Writ Petition was filed in W.P.No.14900 of 2020 before this Court and the same was disposed of by the learned Single Judge of this Court vide order dated 18.03.2024, wherein, this Court had directed the respondents to 2/5

consider the representation of the petitioners to increase the pension benefits to the extent possible and pass suitable orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

2. Therefore, nothing left to be adjudicated in the present Writ Petition. However, subject to the orders passed by the Authority concerned in pursuance of the order dated 18.03.2024 in W.P.No.14900 of 2020, if the petitioner is entitled for any increase in pension, the respondents are directed to pay the same to the petitioners within a reasonable time.

3. In view of the order passed in W.P.No.14900 of 2020 vide order dated 18.03.2024, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 17.10.2024 jas Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order 3/5
