ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2024.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's grand father-in-law purchased an extent of 1.46 acres of land comprised in S.No.206 Asamandur Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District under a registered sale deed bearing Doc.No.4010 of 1964 dated 02.09.1964. He also acquired an extent of 2.05 acres in S.No.206, Asamandur Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District under exchange deed bearing Doc No.4011 of 1964 dated 02.09.1964. After the demise of her grand father-in-law, petitioner's father-in-law and her husband inherited the property. During UDR Scheme, the property underwent subdivision and a new sub division in S.No.206/1 was carved out and it was wrongly classified as canal without reference to the title deed in respect of S.No.206 or notice to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 02.09.2024 before the 2/5
respondents seeking rectification of the above error. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that the representation dated 02.09.2024, made by petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation dated 02.09.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance 3/5
with law.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
