ORDER

The prayer in the present petition is to direct the first respondent to give sufficient police protection to the petitioners herein from respondents 2 to 4, while carrying out the erection of temporary shed in the roof of the building belonging to the petitioners.

2. Admittedly, proceedings are pending before the Rent Control Court and as such, it would not be appropriate to grant police protection in favour of the owner of the properties, for the purpose of putting up construction in the building demised premises. It is always open to the petitioner herein to seek for similar relief for the purpose of putting up construction before the Rent Control Court.
