ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the complaint dated 25.11.2017.

2. The petitioner's intercaste marriage, since opposed by her father, has constrained her to approach the respondent police seeking for protection on the apprehension of her life may be in threat. In this connection, she has also made representation dated 25.11.2017 seeking for necessary protection, since the representation has not been considered till date she has filed the present application.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the petition without going into the merits of the case,there shall be direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While considering the representation, the respondent shall give https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

due opportunity to the persons who may be interested in the subject matter of the representation..

4. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
