The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c), 20(b) (ii) (C) and 25 of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.376 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein is an absconding accused in C.C.No.32 of 2024 on the file of the Additional District Judge and Presiding Officer under EC-Act, Salem, he is wanted in action of illegal transport of 200 kgs of Ganja in a car along with other accused.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police states that a Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the petitioner.

4. In view of the above facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
