By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard Mr.C.Veeraraghavan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

3. The petitioners seek for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider their representation dated 14.10.2015, thereby stopping the payment of compensation amount to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the second respondent with regard to the lands, which are acquired by the Government for Industrial purpose under the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act, 1997.

4. As rightly pointed out by the learned Special Government Pleader, the dispute raised by way of representation is purely a civil dispute and therefore, the same cannot be adjudicated by the first respondent. Hence, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition cannot be granted.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
