With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard Mr.Adithya Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Manokaran Sundaram, learned Counsel for the respondent.

3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to reactive the petitioner's registration https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

certificate's TIN No.33663365677 issued under the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act.

4. Though the petitioner's certificate has been cancelled, it does not mean that the petitioner cannot seek for restoration of the certificate. Hence the petitioner is directed to submit a representation to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for restoration of the certificate of registration after assigning the reasons as to why the certificate resulted in cancellation. On such application being made, the respondent shall afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
