O R D E R

According to the petitioner, the Corporation of Chennai notified 106 posts of sanitary Supervisor vacancies to District Employment Office (General) Santhome, Chennai. In the said notification, It has been specifically mentioned that S.S.L.C passed is the basic qualification for the afore-said post. The petitioner has made registration in the office of the Employment, Anna Salai, Nandanam. But, the third respondent has not forwarded his name to the Corporation of Chennai for the appointment of Sanitary Supervisor.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the minimum qualification of the aforesaid post, the candidate should have passed S.S.L.C. But, the petitioner has not passed S.S.L.C. Hence, the petitioner's name has not been considered to the afore-said post.

3. Considering the afore-said fact that the petitioner's name has not sponsored by the third respondent since the petitioner has not possessed minimum qualification for passing of S.S.L.C. There is no dispute in the said fact. Hence, this Court cannot consider the relief sought for by the petitioner. Therefore, the contention of the petitioner is liable to be rejected. Further, the third respondent is directed to consider his name in future vacancies, otherwise he is eligible.

4. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
