ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/defacto complainant to direct the respondent police to investigate and file final report in Crime No.1329 of 2021 before the competent Court of law within a stipulated period.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. A perusal of the complaint shows that there was a money transaction between the petitioner/defacto complainant and the accused and the dispute is civil in nature. However, there is a recital in the complaint that when the petitioner asked the accused the repay the amount, the accused gave life threat by stating that he would take away their life by engaging Goondas and except the said recital, there is no ingredient for criminal offence.

4. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to conduct investigation and find out as to whether there is only a money dispute or whether any life threat was given by the accused and file the final report as early as possible. 2/4
