By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard Mr.B.Nedunchezhiyan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose his representation dated 10.10.2015.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the representation given by the petitioner has not been disposed of though there was an earlier direction given vide proceedings dated 08.12.2004.

In the light of the above, without going into the merits, as projected by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2015, in accordance with law and pass a speaking order on merits and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
