O R D E R

The petitioner, alleging non compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 30.12.2013 in M.P.No.1 of 2013 in W.P.No.35227 of 2013, has filed the present contempt petition.

2. Mr.V.M.Ravichandran, learned Special Government Pleader has drawn the attention of this Court to the counter affidavit filed by the first respondent, wherein it has been stated that the interim order of this Court dated 30.12.2013 merely means that there shall be an order of interim stay, if the petitioner is already in service and whereas the petitioner has already been dismissed from service, vide G.O.(Ms)No.107, Energy (D2) Department dated 12.12.2013 and the selection of the petitioner, who had been working as Assistant Electrical Inspector, was already cancelled and the aforesaid Government Order has been served to the petitioner on 19.12.2013 itself and at the time of passing the interim order, the petitioner is not continuing in service and therefore, the interim order of this Court dated 30.12.2013 has not been complied with.

3. Recording the above stand taken by the first respondent in the counter affidavit, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
