Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to dispose of the Appeal Memorandum dated 13.07.2015 made to him, preferred against the order dated 15.06.2015 passed by the third respondent herein.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent herein to dispose of the Appeal Memorandum dated 13.07.2015.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has rejected her request for promotion to the post of Lab Assistant on 15.06.2015. Aggrieved against the same, the petitioner has preferred an appeal to the first respondent on 13.07.2015. But, he has not received an communication from him. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Subbiah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.ME.Raniselvam learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is already aged about 52 years and he is having only short period of five years to reach the age of superannuation and therefore the Appeal preferred by him has to be disposed of at an early date.

6. Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the Appeal preferred by the petitioner on 13.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
