ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 309 (4) BNS, in Crime No.67 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submitted that
the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto-complainant's car and snatched a sum of Rs.2250/- at knife point and beaten the defacto-complainant. Investigation in this case is not completed. He further submitted that co-accused were arrested and they are in prison. 4.Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the records. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that investigation in this case is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
