2. In the affidavit in support, it is stated that detailed discussions had to be undertaken virtually between the applicant and its lawyers, who are based in two different cities.

3. The respondent/plaintiff has no serious objection to this application being allowed.

4. Upon examining the reasons set out in the affidavit in support of this application and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, this application is allowed. The Registry is directed to consequently receive the written statement of the defendant.
