ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 04.04.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is the Secretary of Sathyamangalam Bar Association, Erode District and it is alleged by the petitioner that one Bhuvaneswaran has not even completed his XII standard, but has become an advocate and he is actively practising in Sathyamangalam, Erode District. In this connection, the petitioner had given a complaint dated 04.04.2016 to the respondent-Police and the respondent-police have transferred the complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore District, for want of territorial jurisdiction.

Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh complaint before the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore District and on such complaint being given the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore District, is directed to forward the complaint to the jurisdictional police for investigation. Liberty is also given to the petitioner to file a complaint before the Tamil Nadu Bar Council for taking appropriate action against the alleged imposter. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
