Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to issue suitable directions, directing the respondent / police not to harass the petitioner in any manner. For petitioner :Mr.J.Franklin For Respondent :Mr.C.Emalias, Additional Public Prosecutor
ORDER
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass him in any manner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had earlier filed a Criminal Original Petition No.6388 of 2015 for anticipatory bail. When the above matter came up for hearing, it was represented on behalf of the police that there was no case pending against the petitioner. The same was recorded by this Court and Crl.O.P.No.6388 of 2015 was closed on 16.3.2015. The learned counsel further submitted that despite the order passed by this Court, the police are continuing to harass the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that he has not received any instructions from the respondent police, though he has sent the communication to the respondent in this regard.

5. Under the circumstances, in my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit himself to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry.
6. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
