Initially, the writ petition was dismissed for non-prosecution on 27.11.2019. Thereafter, the same was restored, by order dated 05.02.2020. Subsequently, the matter was adjourned on several occasions at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. When the matter was called on 15.11.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner and the writ petition was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal' on 16.11.2022. Even today, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks for short accommodation.

3. At the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was continuously adjourned for more than eight occasions. It seems that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the request of the counsel for the petitioner.
