This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to investigate Crime No.856 of 2018 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame.

2.Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the First Information Report was registered in Crime No.856 of 2018 as man missing case.

4. The respondent Police is directed to proceed further with the investigation in accordance with the guidelines given by this Court in K.Sukumari .vs. The Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District, Virudhunagar and Others reported in [2018 2 LW Crl 636].
