ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to furnish the results of counselling dated 26.03.2018.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondent Commission issued Notification no.7 of 2015 dated 30.04.2015 inviting applications for direct recruitment for the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination II (Interview Posts) (Group II Services) for the years 2014-2016. The petitioner based on the marks obtained in the preliminary examination, is allowed to appear for main examination held on 21.08.2016. Based on the marks obtained in the main written examination, she had been called for certificate verification held on 23.10.2017. The petitioner belongs to most backward community and she has completed her U.G. Degree namely B.A.B.L., 5 years integrated course. She attended for certificate verification on 23.10.2017 and oral test on 05.02.2018. She has secured 127.50 marks in both written and oral test.

The petitioner is ranked at 1077 and she has been called for counselling held on 26.03.2018. As per the contention of the petitioner, she was denied for employment orally, though she was ranked in the list on 336th place. The petitioner has sent a registered letter to the respondent on 27.03.2018. But there was no reply. Therefore, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking to furnish the results of the counselling dated 26.03.2018.

3.On behalf of the respondent, a counter affidavit has been filed. In the counter affidavit, it is stated that the details regarding post wise number of posts filled in the counselling held up to 26.03.2018 relating to the recruitment of CCSC-II(Group-II) Services for the years 2014-2016 is enclosed in Annexure-I alongwith the counter affidavit. In fact, that annexure is not available alongwith the counter on the earlier occasions. A copy of the annexure(I) & (II) are produced before this Court today. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the annexure (i) and (ii) containing the particulars of the counselling held on 26.03.2018 are served to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also accepted that they have received the particulars only in the month of March 2024.

5.Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the relief sought in this Writ Petition is only with respect to non-furnishing of the results of the counselling held on 26.03.2018 and as of now, the respondent has furnished those particulars to the petitioner, in the considered 3/6

opinion of this Court, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.

No costs.

Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 7.However, if the petitioner has any grievance about the particulars furnished by the respondent, with respect to the result of the counselling held on 26.03.2018 and for non-selection of the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to ventilate her grievance in accordance with law. 29.08.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No dn 4/6
