Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal. 2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to initiate proceedings under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act against the respondents 3 and 4, by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 16.10.2015 within a stipulated time.
3. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if a direction is given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2015, within a time frame.

In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity to all the interested parties. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
