ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to execute the supplementary lease deed for removal of Dunite as per clause No.6(14) in G.O.(D).No.79, dated 15.07.2024, Natural Resources (MMC.I) Department, in respect of 77.50.0 hectares in survey No.178 of Jagir Ammalpalayam village, Salem taluk, Salem district.
2. Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.
3. Upon hearing Mrs.AL.Ganthimathi, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, 2/6
it is seen that the petitioner has been given license for quarrying magnesite. While so, the petitioner has now made a representation, dated 09.04.2025 for removal of the Dunite also which is available as a material. It is also stated that a Government Order is also passed in this regard. Therefore, the petitioner prays for a supplementary lease deed.
4. In view of the nature of the order that is being passed, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.04.2025 in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a web-copy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order.
