Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, call for the records relating to the proceedings of the third respondent in Ka.No.Vu.Po./E&Pa.Ka.Theri/Vavu/Ko.Tha.vu/No.315/2015-2016 dated 26.09.2015 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to give domestic service connection from the existing nearby electric pole.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has circulated a letter dated 16.02.2017, to the Registry seeking to post the writ petition for withdrawal. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition.

2.In the light of the letter dated 16.02.2017 and recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
