ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C @ 306 IPC on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant's daughter got married to the petitioner and there was a wordy quarrel between them on 25.05.2020, with regard to attending a family function (House Warming Function), as a result of which, the defacto complainant's daughter has committed suicide by hanging. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the victim has committed suicide due to the wordy quarrel between them and not due to demand of dowry. He would further submit that the earlier application was dismissed on the ground that RDO enquiry was pending.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that till date RDO enquiry is pending and there is no change of circumstances. Taking into consideration that there is no change of circumstances after the dismissal of the earlier application on 09.09.2020, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
