ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the cultural program on 13.06.2018 in connection with the Muneeswaran Temple festival at Nallur Colony, Kongupatti Post, Kongupatti Panchayat, Kadaiyampatti Union, Omalur Taluk and Salem District, by considering his representation dated 11.06.2018.

2. When the matter was taken up, the learned Government Advocate for the respondent, urging this Court to dismiss the writ petition, submitted that the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous, as the date (13.6.2018) for conducting the cultural program as a part of the temple festival is already over.

3. Since the petitioner's prayer seeking permission to conduct the cultural program on 13.6.2018 as a part of the temple festival was already over, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
