ORDER

1. This Civil Revision Petition has been filed, to direct the Additional District Munsif Court, Alandur, to dispose of IA.No.1464 of 2009 in OS.No.170 of 2009, within a time frame.

2. This court heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner.

3. The Petitioner herein is the Plaintiff in OS.No.170 of 2009, on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Alandur. The suit is one for ejection. The Respondent/ Defendant has filed IA.No.1464 of 2009, claiming benefit under 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in

CRP(PD)No.1935 of 2020 RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.

Srcm Section 9 of the Tamil Nadu City Tenants Protection Act. In the said IA, enquiry has been conducted and evidence has been recorded and the case was posted for arguments. It appears that the said IA is of the year 2009.

4. Taking note of the long pendency, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of both the parties, the Additional District Munsif Court, Alandur is directed to dispose of IA.No.1464 of 2009, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also send a compliance report.

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
