Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing counsel who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's residential house at No.549/1A1, Elanthari Nagar, Chettipalayam Road, Malumichampatti Village, Podanur,
Coimbatore District, by considering her representations dated 19.09.15 and 12.10.15.
3. The petitioner, after purchasing a residential site at S.F.No.549/1 A1, Elanthari Nagar, Chettipalayam Road, Podanur, Malumichampatti Village, had constructed a building in the said place and after completing the construction, according to the petitioner, she and her family including school going children are residing there. In order to get electricity connection to the said place, the petitioner made an application dated 07.09.2015 requesting to provide electricity service connection along with basic documents. Pursuant to the same, the 2nd respondent has sent a letter demanding to furnish certain documents. According to the petitioner, she expressed her difficulties to provide the documents. Thereafter, the petitioner also sent representation dated 19.09.2015 and 12.10.2015 to provide electricity service connection. Till date, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

Since the representations of the petitioner dated 19.09.2015 and 12.10.2015 are pending consideration, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.09.2015 and 12.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
