The accused 3 and 4 in a private complaint filed under Sections 138, 141 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act has preferred this petition to quash the complaint filed by the respondent.

2. On a perusal of records, it is seen that there are prima-facie materials against the petitioners. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.120 of 2010 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet.
3. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Considering the pendency of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet is directed to dispose of the above said case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
