] This Court, while disposing of this Habeas Corpus Petition on 13.07.2023, directed the detenu to be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate to record his statement, and ordered the matter to be listed for reporting compliance.

2.Accordingly, today, the matter is listed under the caption "for report".

3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the detenu was produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai, and his statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has also been recorded by the learned Magistrate. A copy of the statement of the detenu under Section 164 Cr.P.C. is also produced before this Court.
