..Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant approval to the petitioner in the post of Record Clerk with salary and other attendant service benefits in the 5th respondent school. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. According to the petitioner, she has passed B.A.degree and joined in the 5th respondent school as Waterman on 01.06.2010. The petitioner would state that the government issued G.O.Ms.No.203, School Education Department, dated 23.07.2010 sanctioning one post of Record Clerk in the 5th respondent school. Mrs.Parveen Sulthana, who was working as a Record Clerk, was promoted to Grade - I, Arabic Munshi and in that place, the petitioner was appointed as Record Clerk on 21.03.2014.

3. The petitioner would claim that the 5th respondent sent a letter to the 4th respondent seeking approval of her appointment, which was returned with endorsement on 27.03.2014, for some clarification and it was also complied with. Due to non approval of the said post, the petitioner is not paid her salary. Hence, the present writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.V.Raghupathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the proposals sent by the 5th respondent to the respondents 3 & 4 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
