O R D E R
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the Survey No.517/2 having an extent of 1395 sq.ft., situated at Plot No.112, No.5, Morai Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District on the basis of petitioner's application dated 11.02.2014.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of his application dated 11.02.2014, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far issuing patta in his favour. 3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
11.02.2014 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks.
4.Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.02.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
