WP.No.2687 of 2013 Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of declaration to declare the petitioner eligible for the Post of Post Graduate Assistants for the year 2011-12 for Government Higher Secondary Schools and consequential direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for the post of Post Graduate Assistants for Government Higher Secondary Schools. JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. The writ appeal has been filed challenging the order passed by the learned Single Judge directing the second appellant Board to declare the writ petitioner as being selected for the post of Post Graduate Assistant and forwarding her name.

3. It appears that in furtherance thereof, a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.27 Higher Education (K2) Department dated 11.2.2014 has been issued in this regard which shows that the Government has approved that M.Sc Zoology (Specialization in Biotechnology) awarded by Lady Doak College affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University is equivalent to M.Sc.Zoology.

4. In view of the above, we find that nothing remains to be considered in this writ appeal. Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
