Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court, by order dated 09.08.2023, had directed the petitioner to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week.

However, the order was delivered by the registry only after a week. Thereby, he was unable to surrender within a time.

2. In view of the above submissions, time for surrender is extended by one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
