Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to enquire into the matter and take action against the 3rd respondent under Rule 20 and 21 of the Tamilnadu Maintenance and welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 20-02-2020 and 23-03-2020 and to retrieve and handover the petitioner's property.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the first and second respondents herein to enquire into the matter and take action against the third respondent under Rule 20 and 21 of the Tamilnadu Maintenance and welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2020 and 23.03.2020 and to retrieve and handover the petitioner's property.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.11.2020, this Court, had directed the first respondent-District Collector to forward the representation of the petitioner to the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned to consider the same and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, as well as the third respondent herein and by affording them an opportunity of personal hearing or virtual hearing or otherwise, considering their written objections and after verifying the relevant documents on or before 03.12.2020. Accordingly, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Arani passed an order in its proceedings No.Ni.Mu.A4/3066/2019 dated 15.12.2020. A copy of the order is produced before this Court by the learned Government Advocate

3. As already the prayer in the writ petition is satisfied, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission to challenge the said order in the manner known to law. Accordingly, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Arani, dated 15.12.2020.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
