PRAYER : This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 19.10.2015 either to allot the land comprised in survey Nos. 723/6, 723/7, 723/8, 723/22 and 723/24 measuring an extent of 11572 Sq.Feet at Vyasarpadi, Chennai, on free of cost or on the applicable cost to the same to the petitioner institution. ORDER

The petitioner made a representation on 19.10.2015 seeking appropriate orders for the assignment/allotment of land situated in Survey Nos. 723/6, 723/7, 723/8, 723/22 and 723/24 measuring an extent of 11572 Sq.Feet at Vyasarpadi, Chennai, on free of cost or on the cost fixed by the respondent concerned. As the request of the petitioner has not been considered till now, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.10.2015 before the first respondent, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
