The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to

provide any suitable employment to the petitioner in any of the Government Department as per the undertaking/ assurance given by the third respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.12/2000 dated 25.10.2000, as a consideration for acquiring the lands of the petitioner's mother Tmt.Chennammal comprised in Survey Nos.53/2, 53/3 and 53/4, Kanampatti Village, Uthangarai Taluk, 2.The case of the petitioner is that the lands in Survey Nos.53/2, 53/3 and 53/4, Kanampatti Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, was originally owned by the petitioner's mother namely, Tmt.Chennammal and were acquired by the third respondent for allotting the same to Irular community people at Kannampatti Village, with the undertaking/ assurance that preference will be given to the legal heirs of the land owners who were affected by the land acquisition.

Hence, the petitioner made representation to the respondents seeking to provide employment to him in the Government Department and since the same was not considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent vide proceedings dated 25.10.2000 has stated that the petitioner will be given preference in the Government employment as legal heir of Tmt.Chennammal who was affected due to the acquisition of her lands. Hence, this Court may permit the petitioner to make representation along with the copy of the proceedings of the third respondent dated 25.10.2000 to the concerned Employment Officer and issue directions to the concerned Employment Officer to pass appropriate orders on the said representation. 4.

In view of the limited request now made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court permits the petitioner to make representation along with the copy of the proceedings of the third respondent dated 25.10.2000 and the copy of the employment registration card to the concerned Employment Officer to enable him to forward the petitioner's name for future employment.
