ORDER

Transfer Petition filed seeking to withdraw H.M.O.P. No.5 of 2026 pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Tindivanam, and to transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Puducherry.

2. The petitioner submits that she is a doctor by profession and, as on date, is preparing for NEET coaching. She is residing with her parents and has no independent source of income. The respondent/husband has filed the divorce petition in H.M.O.P. No.5 of 2026 before the Principal Subordinate Court, Tindivanam. Considering that the petitioner is dependent upon her parents for her livelihood and that the respondent/husband is an engineer by profession, the reasons stated by the petitioner are found to be justifiable.

3. Accordingly, H.M.O.P. No.5 of 2026 pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Tindivanam, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Puducherry. On receipt of the records and after taking the case on file, the transferee Court is directed to issue notice to both parties and proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

4. This Transfer Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 22-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MPA
