Though this matter has been heard and closed on 13.07.2022 with certain directions, at the mentioning of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this matter has been taken up today. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue Avantika, aged about 19 years, has been secured and Veeramani, who is a married man with two children and who enticed Avantika and taken her, against whom several criminal cases are pending, has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody.

Today, the police produced Avantika, aged about 19 years, before this Court. The petitioner is also present. 4.

When enquired by us, Avantika informed that due to the threat veiled by Veeramani, she was compelled to go with him. She expressed her willingness to go with her parents and continue her studies. 5.
