to direct the respondents to consider the applications submitted by the petitioners for transfer of patta in the names of the petitioners who are the purchasers of the plots in the Ambalal Nandhavanam layout at Nandhiyalam Village, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District.

ORDER
The Petitioners have come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for transfer of patta in the names of the petitioners who are the purchasers of the plots in the Ambalal Nandhavanam Layout at Nandhiyalam Village, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District based on the application of the petitioners dated 30.4.2015 followed by a reminder/representation dated 27.11.2015.
2. Heard Mr. Muralikrishnan, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr.V. Subbiah, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. According to the learned counsel, the petitioners are the purchasers of independent plots located at Nandiyalam Village, Wallajah Taluk and they have purchased the same through a registered sale deed from Ambalal Real Estate and Housing. After purchase of the above plots, the petitioners approached the respondent seeking for transfer of patta in their respective names after effecting subdivision and in respect of the same, they have submitted an application for transfer of patta on 30.4.2015 to the respondent. Since no action was taken, all the petitioners submitted a reminder/representation on 27.11.2015 through registered post. Even after the same, the application for transfer of patta by subdivision is not considered by the respondent. Hence the petitioners are before this Court with this Writ Petition.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the reminder/representation of the petitioners is considered and necessary orders be passed by the respondent authorities within a time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Hence, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the reminder/representation of the petitioners dated 27.11.2015 for transfer of patta on merits and in accordance
with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
