On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners are arrayed as accused in Crime No.1 of 2025 registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 120B, 109, 468, 506(1) of IPC on the file of the first respondent. He further submitted that on the instructions of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Salem, the petitioner's bank accounts were freezed and the still the investigation is pending.

While the investigation is pending, the prayer sought for by the petitioners to defreeze the account cannot be considered and the writ petitions are devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, all the Writ Petitions stand dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
