O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to take further action on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.02.2025 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent- Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner lodged a complaint on 20.02.2025 before the first respondent-Police seeking to find out the whereabouts of his wife Mrs.Jothi Priya. The said complaint was forwarded to the second respondent-Police. Since the respondent-Police has not taken any action on the petitioner's complaint, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent-Police to take further action on the petitioner's complaint.

4. This Court vide order dated 04.06.2025 directed the respondent-Police to produce the petitioner's wife before this Court.

5. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both the petitioner and Mrs.Jothi Priya appeared before this Court. Mrs.JothiPriya has stated that she left her matrimonial home voluntarily without any coercion or compulsion or force. The statement of the said Mrs.Jothi Priya is recorded.

6. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to workout his remedy before the competent Court. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
