The petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.126 of 2007 pending before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, thereby taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 153A and 505 of IPC, as against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is died and the charge as against the petitioner itself is abated.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
