PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandmaus directing the respondents to consider and act on the representation dated 7.6.2014 made by the petitioner.

ORDER
Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned counsel takes notice for respondents 4 and 5. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 07.06.2014.
3. By way of the said representation to the second respondent, the petitioner made certain allegations against the officials stating that illegality has been committed in the matter of allotment of scheme houses. The petitioner's representation was taken note of and the second respondent, by proceedings dated 19.6.2014, directed the fourth respondent to appear for an enquiry and it is the petitioner's say that pursuant to the enquiry, it was found that 7 out of 27 allotments were found to be unlawful and illegal. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no further progress, as there is a stalemate in the matter.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2014 on merits, pass a speaking order in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
