O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to grant Selection Grade to the petitioner in the post of B.T.Assistant (Tamil) with effect from 10.10.2022, with all consequential and other attendant benefits, in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 22.11.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was initially appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in School Education Department on 15.02.1981 and she was promoted as B.T.Assistant (Tamil) in the year 2012. It is further submission of the writ petitioner that the service of the petitioner has been regularised and probation also declared.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that after completion of service of 10 years in B.T(Assistant), the petitioner is entitled for selection grade. However, when the proposal submitted by the Headmaster of the School on 29.11.2023, the same was returned by the 3rd respondent stating that the incentive increment was granted to the petitioner on account of the higher qualification for M.A.(Tamil) Degree. connection, the petitioner had given representation on 22.11.2023 to the 3rd respondent for granting selection grade, but the same has not been considered till date.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the representation made by the petitioner is yet to be considered, this Court without going into merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2023, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be done within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
