The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.45 of 2009 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kelamangalam Police Station, Krishnagiri District and to quash the FIR.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that an FIR in Crime No.45 of 2009 was registered by the Inspector of Police, Kelamangalam Police Station, Krishnagiri District, and subsequently, another case was registered against the petitioner and the investigation has been completed and the petitioner was also acquitted. Accordingly, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
